Before K-pop ruled the charts, there was Korean rock or K-Rock—and Jeon In-kwon was at the heart of it. Now, the legendary rocker is ready to celebrate his 40-year music journey with a powerful two-night concert in Seoul!

Jeon, best known as the lead singer of the iconic band Deulgukhwa, will headline a special anniversary show titled “The Final Resonance” on September 20 and 21 at Yonsei University’s Grand Auditorium.

Deulgukhwa made waves in 1985 with their self-titled debut album, which sold over one million copies—a massive feat at the time! Their emotional lyrics and raw sound helped define Korean rock or K-Rock, and their influence is still felt today.

Jeon’s songs—like “March,” “That’s My Own World,” “Please,” and the beloved anthem “Don’t Worry, My Dear”—spoke to the hopes, struggles, and dreams of Korean youth. Even now, they continue to move new generations of listeners.

This upcoming concert will be a mix of nostalgia and fresh energy, featuring Deulgukhwa’s greatest hits, Jeon’s solo favorites, and the first-ever live performance of a brand-new song created just for this celebration.

“I want to give everything I’ve got to the fans who’ve supported me for 40 years,” Jeon said through his agency. “This will be my best voice, live on stage.”

🎟️ Tickets go on sale at noon this Tuesday through NOL Ticket and Ticketlink—don’t miss out!

Whether you’re a longtime fan or just discovering Korea’s rock roots, this is a once-in-a-lifetime show you won’t want to miss. (worldpopkorea@gmail.com)
